What will parking at SLC actually cost you?

The main parking guide and the cheapest-parking ranking both make the same point: which option wins depends almost entirely on trip length. A one-night business trip and a three-week international flight shouldn't park in the same place. This tool does that break-even math for whatever number you actually have.

How the ranking shifts
Rideshare and the free park-and-ride option don't get more expensive the longer you're gone — that's the whole reason they eventually beat every per-day lot. The garage and Lot E are the opposite: cheap for a quick trip, expensive fast once you're gone more than a day or two. The economy lot and The Parking Spot sit in between, which is why they win the middle-length trips most people actually take. What this doesn't include
This leaves out Level 2 premium garage parking ($65/day, priced for the shortest possible walk, not for saving money), promo codes (too short-lived to build a calculator around), and rental cars at your destination, since rates there swing too much by company and season to publish a fixed number here. It also assumes the advertised rate for On Air Parking's SLC7 lot holds at checkout, which the cheapest-parking guide flags as unconfirmed.
